Who we are

Optagonal (OPTA) is a technology company based in Guatemala that builds software for field operations. This site, optagonal.com, is an informational site about our company and our products, OptaCheck and OptaLock. This policy describes what data is processed when you visit it. Each product has its own privacy policy on its respective site.

Data we collect

This site has no forms, no user accounts, no cookies of its own, and no analytics tools. We do not collect personal data directly, and we do not sell data of any kind.

As with any website, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) generates technical access logs — IP address, browser type, and pages visited — used solely to operate the site and protect it against abuse.

Third-party services

When you visit the site, your browser connects to these services:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS Amplify) — site hosting. Generates the technical logs described above.
• Google Fonts — the site's typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which means your IP address is communicated to Google. SeeGoogle's privacy policy.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — only if you choose to message us on WhatsApp. The conversation is governed byWhatsApp's privacy policy.

If you contact us

If you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we use your name, contact details, and the content of your message solely to reply and follow up on your inquiry. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to handle it, or for as long as we have a business relationship with you.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the information you shared with us when contacting us. Write to us and we will respond promptly.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and does not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the updated version on this page with a new revision date.
